Romance gone wild, mistaken identities, the threat of an international spy syndicate – If you think that all nunneries are humdrum houses of worship, you’ve never encountered the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing. In the outrageous farce Drinking Habits, two nuns have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open. but a couple of reporters and former fiancees are hot on their trail. The ex-lovers go undercover as a priest and nun, but their presence spurs paranoia that spikes have been sent from Rome to shut the convent down. Wine and secrets are spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves in the this DayTrippers Dinner Theatre production.
